Julius Erman Marquez, better known by his stage name Empoy Marquez, is a Filipino actor and comedian best known for his appearances in the films Kapitan Awesome and Mac and Chiz. He was also a member of the comedic joke show Banana Sundae and starred in the 2017 romance comedy Kita Kita.

Julius Erman “Empoy” Ramos Marquez, also known as Empoy, is a Filipino actor and comedian. He is known for his lead male role in Kita Kita, the highest-grossing Filipino independent film of all time. After winning a Magandang Tanghali Bayan lookout for Mr. Suave, he received a small role in the 2003 comedy Mr. Suave. From 2003 to 2008, he starred in a number of minor roles in a number of films and TV shows, where he was chosen as a humorous assistant. He has also appeared in a number of independent films. Marquez later appeared in TV5 Lokomoko, Tropa Mo Ko Unli, and played the iconic superhero role in Kapitan Awesome. He also played the role of Chiz on the 2015 sitcom Mac & Chiz. In 2018, he played a supporting role in the drama Since finding you and also starred in the movie Kusina Kings.
