Mthembeni Ndevu, known as Emtee, is a South African rapper. He is known for his successful debut single, "Roll Up". Emtee was signed to Ambitiouz Entertainment, an independent South African record label. Her debut album Avery was certified platinum by RISA on July 1, 2016. Avery includes the hit "Roll Up" and the upcoming hit "Pearl Thusi". Emtee released his third album Manando in September 2015, a track referring to his late brother. Her third album DIY 2 was released in 2018 and marked her last outing with Ambitiouz Entertainment, after leaving the studio in August 2019. He then launched his own brand in September of the same year.
