Eoghan Karl Christopher Quigg is a soccer player and pop singer from Dungiven, Northern Ireland, who finished third in the fifth round of UK television's The X Factor music talent contest. 2008. Thanks to his success in X Factor, Quigg was signed by Simon. Cowell, creator / producer of X Factor, owner and CEO of Syco Records, but instead signed with RCA after Cowell retired. Quigg released a studio album of the same name in 2009, before heavy negative reviews. Quigg competed in the Irish national team for a chance to represent Ireland in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, but finished runner-up. Quigg joined Coagh United F.C in 2015, and then Portstewart F.C. in the Northern Ireland Intermediate League.
