The Kansas City Chiefs selected him fifth overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. In his first four seasons with the Chiefs, he was named to three Pro Bowls. In 2014, he was diagnosed with cancer, but he made a recovery and returned to the Chiefs in 2015.

Eric Berry is a former American Football Security Officer. He played college football in Tennessee, where he was an All-American footballer on two unanimity and was recognized as the nation's top college defender. He was then drafted by Kansas City Heads in fifth place on the Draft NFL 2010. Berry has been elected to the Pro Bowl five times and named First Team All-Pro three times. Berry was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma on December 8, 2014. After undergoing chemotherapy during the season and declared cancer-free, Berry returned in the 2015 season and was named Pro Bowl, AP All-Pro team, and named player of the year 2015 AP. He was named to the 2010 NFL Team of All.
