Eve is a character in Genesis in the Hebrew Bibles and the Koran. According to the origin story of the Abrahamic religion, she was the first woman, but a controversy also gave this position to Lilith. Eve is also known as Adam's wife. According to the second chapter of Genesis, Eve was created by God by taking her from the rib of Adam, to be the companion of Adam.
