Fabio Cannavaro is a former Italian professional footballer and currently manager of the Chinese club Guangzhou. As a center-back, he has spent most of his career in Italy. He started his career in Naples before spending seven years in Parma, with whom he won two Coppa Italia titles, the Supercoppa Italiana 1999 and the UEFA Cup 1999. After playing for Internazionale and Juventus, he moved from Juventus to Real Madrid in 2006, with whom he won back-to-back La Liga championships in 2007 and 2008. After returning to Juventus for one season in 2009 -10, he joined Al-Ahli in Dubai, where he retired from football in 2011 after a traumatic season. Cannavaro has also enjoyed great success with the Italian national team. He is part of the Italian team that won the European Under-21 Championship in a row in 1994 and 1996
