Acclaimed Malayalam cinema actor who is notable for his role in the films Chaappa Kurishu, 22 Female Kottayam, Diamond Necklace, and Akam.
Fahadh Faasil is an Indian actor and producer who mainly works in Malayalam films. He has appeared in over 40 films and received numerous awards including a National Film Award, three Kerala State Film Awards and three Southern Filmfare Awards. Fahadh is the son of filmmaker Fazil. Fahadh began his film career at the age of 19 with a leading role in Fazil's 2002 romance film Kaiyethum Doorath, a critical and commercial flop. After a 7-year hiatus, Fahadh returned with the anthology Kerala Cafe, in the short Mrityunjayam. He gained public attention for his role as Arjun in the horror film Chaappa Kurishu. Fahad won his first Kerala State Film Award, the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in Chaappa Kurishu alongside his performance in Akam. He received critical acclaim for his roles as Cyril in 22 Female Kottayam and Dr Arun Kumar in Diamond Chain.
