Joseph Antonio Cartagena, known by his stage name Fat Joe, is an American rapper and actor from the Bronx, New York. He started his music career as a member of Diggin 'hip hop group in Crates Crew, then trained his solo career and created his own label, Terror Squad, which he signed. contracts with Big Pun, Remy Ma, Tony Sunshine, Cuban Link, Armageddon, Prospect, Triple Seis and DJ Khaled as well as exploring producers Cool & Dre. Fat Joe's first solo album, Representative, was released in 1993 and created the single "Flow Joe", reaching number one on the Billboard Hot Rap Songs chart. His most commercially successful album to date is J jealous Ones Still Envy; It has been certified platinum by the RIAA and internationally certified silver by BPI, and reached the top 100 on several music charts. He is known for his songs "Lean Back" with Terror Squad, "What's Luv?"
