During his 11 year career in Major League Baseball, Tatís played for the Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals, Montreal Expos, Baltimore Orioles and New York Mets. He holds the grand tournament record for the number of points in a single match, a feat he achieved when he hit two Grand Slam tournaments in a single match on April 23, 1999, only became a player in MLB history to do this.
