Fionnghuala Manon "Fionnula" Flanagan is an Irish film, television and theater actress. For her contributions to the entertainment industry, she received the IFTA Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. Flanagan is known for her roles in James Joyce's films Women and Others, won the Saturn Award. She received the Maureen O'Hara Award at the Kerry Film Festival 2011, which is awarded to women who have excelled in the cinematographic field of their choice. She is also nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards and two Tony Awards for her acting career. In 2020, she was ranked 23rd in the Irish Times' list of Greatest Irish Film Actors.
