Franco Harris is a former American professional footballer who served as the National Football Federation's full-back for Pittsburgh Steelers and the Seattle Seahawks. After playing college football for the Penn State Nittany Lions, he was selected by the Steelers for the first round of the NFL Draft in 1972, the 13th overall pick. He played his first 12 years in the NFL with the Steelers. ; His 13th and final years were spent with the Seahawks. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1990 .
