Franka Potente is a German actress. She made her debut in the comedy After Five in the Forest Primeval, in which she won the Bavarian Film Award for Best Young Actress. Her breakthrough came in 1998, when she starred in the popular action thriller Run Lola Run, which won the BAMBI Best Actress Award. She received another critical acclaim and a Bavarian Television Award nomination for her performance in the TV series Opernball. After half a decade of receiving roles in German productions, Potente moved to Hollywood with his role in the crime biography Blow, and gained more recognition when appearing in The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremacy. . She played communist revolutionary Tamara Bunke in Che and psychologist Anita Gregory in The Conjuring 2.
