William Frederick Durst is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actor and director. He is best known as the singer and lyricist of nu metal band Limp Bizkit, founded in 1994, and has released six studio albums. Since 2006, Durst has worked on indie films. He starred in Population 436 and directed his first time in 2007, with The Education of Charlie Banks. He continued with The Longshots in 2008. His last film, The Fanatic, was released in 2019.
