Yolanda Gail Devers is a retired American athlete. Twice a 100-meter Olympic champion for the United States, her victory in 1996 made her the second woman to successfully defend the 100-meter Olympic title. She won her third Olympic gold medal in the 4 × 100m relay event in 1996. She was also the 1993 world champion in the 100m and three-time world champion in the 100m hurdles. In 2011, she was inducted into the National Aspect and Race Hall Fame.
