Former West Virginia University quarterback who was drafted in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the New York Jets. In the preseason of his rookie year, he was named the Jets' starting quarterback.

Eugene Cyril "Geno" Smith III is an American football midfielder, an independent player. He played college rugby in West Virginia, led the climbing team to several Bowl games, broke several passing records and won several awards before being drafted by the New York Jets in the second round of the 2013 NFL Draft. After two unsettled seasons as the Jets starting midfielder, Smith has finally lost his starting place due to injury during his last two years with the team. He also took time to replace the New York Giants and Los Angeles Chargers, becoming the first African-American quartet to start for the first time.
