Geoffrey Johns is an American comic author, screenwriter, film and television producer. Johns' work on DC Comics characters Green Lantern, Aquaman, The Flash and Superman has received critical acclaim. He was a Creative Director of DC Entertainment from 2010 to 2018 and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Production from 2016 to 2018. He is co-founder and former co-chairman of DC Films and former co-runner of DC Extended Universe until 2018. In film terms, he is the producer or executive producer of Green Lantern, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice , Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Justice League, Shazam !, Birds of Prey, co-wrote and produced the story for Aquaman and wrote the screenplay for Wonder Woman 1984. Geoff's involvement with DC Entertainment as a producer , writer and executive helped make DC Extended Universe Brand the 11th highest grossing film franchise of all time, with more than $ 5.6 billion at the global box office.
