George Dimitrios Calombaris is an Australian chef and restaurant owner. Calombaris was one of the judges for the Network 10 MasterChef Australia chain from 2009 to 2019. Prior to taking on his role on MasterChef Australia, Calombaris appeared regularly on the Network Ten Daytime Cooking Show Ready Steady Cook. He owns several restaurants in Melbourne. Its flagship restaurant, The Press Club, received the "Best New Restaurant 2008" award by The Age Good Food Guide and Calombaris was named "Chef of the Year 2008". Calombaris is inspired by Greek, Cypriot and Italian heritage.
