George Virden Watsky, also known personally as Watsky, is an American musician, musician, record producer, poet and author. Watsky exploded as a rapper with the viral video "Pale kid raps fast" in 2011. He has released six studio albums: Watsky in 2009, Cardboard Castles in 2013, All You Can Do in 2014, x Infinity in 2016, Complaint in 2019 and Placement in 2020. He has performed chapters submitted live with his support group, Sour cream. Watsky is also known for his appearances in Epic Rap Battles of History, and as an author after the release of How to Ruin Everything in 2016. On May 7, 2020, Watsky set his Guinness World Record for Longest Rap Marathon , rapping in 33 hours. 33 minutes and 19 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 25 hours and 56 minutes of former record holder Pablo Alverez. Also known for his slam poem, he was featured in part 6 of Russell Simmons Presents Def Poetry.
