Gerard James Butler is a Scottish actor and film producer. After studying law, Butler turned to acting in the mid-1990s with minor roles in such works as Mrs. Brown, the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies and Tale of the Mummy. In 2000, he played the Earl of Dracula in the 2000 gothic horror film Dracula starring Christopher Plummer and Jonny Lee Miller. He then played Attila the Hun in the Attila miniseries and later appeared in the Reign of Fire films starring Christian Bale and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life with Angelina Jolie, before playing André Marek in the film adapts to science fiction. adventure by Michael Crichton Timeline.
