In 2012, she made her Olympic debut for Switzerland as an artistic gymnast. In 2013 and 2014, she won back-to-back European Women's Artistic Gymnastics Championships in the vault. She won a bronze medal at the 2016 Olympics.

Giulia Steingruber is a Swiss art gymnast. She is the winner of the 2016 Olympic bronze medal for the tunnel and the European champion in personal exercises, tunnels and bridges. Steingruber also competed for Switzerland at the 2012 Summer Olympics. She was the first female Swiss gymnast to win an all-European title and the first Swiss female gymnast to win. Olympic gymnastics medals of any color.
