Grace Slick is a retired American singer-songwriter and current artist, a key figure in San Francisco's flourishing psychedelic music in the mid-1960s. She spanned four decades. She played with The Great Society, Jefferson Airplane, whom she first found fame with with her albums Surrealistic Pillow, Jefferson Starship and Starship. She also has a sporadic solo career. Slick has provided vocals for several popular songs including "Somebody to Love", "White Rabbit", "We Built This City" and "Nothing's Gonna Stop Us Now".
