Graham Leslie Coxon is a musician, singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and painter, well known as a founding member of the rock band Blur. As the band's lead guitarist and undersinger, Coxon has appeared on all eight of Blur's studio albums. He also began his solo career in 1998. In addition to being a musician, Coxon is also a visual artist: he has designed covers for all his solo albums as well as for Blur's 13. Coxon plays several musical instruments and records his albums with little support from version musicians. Q magazine reviewer Adrian Deevoy wrote: "Coxon is an amazing musician. His uninterrupted playing style - all the chord slides, quick snatches, arpeggios and pauses. Interval - apparently owed more to his training. saxophone than at any regular guitar lesson. " As a creative guitarist, he has been described by the band Oasis Noel Gallagher as "one of the most talented guitarists of his generation".
