Gregory Wayne Oden Jr is a former professional basketball player from America. Oden, the 7-foot-0, 250-pound centerpiece, played college basketball at Ohio State University for a season in which the team were the Big Ten champions and finalists at the NCAA Division Men's Basketball Championship. I. On June 28, 2007, Greg Oden was selected as No. 1 in NBA Draft 2007 by Portland Trail Blazers. He underwent knee-injury micro-surgery in September 2007 and missed out on the entire 2007-08 NBA season as a result. He recovered and made his NBA debut on the opening night of 2008. In March 2012, he was eliminated from the Trail Blazers after a long injury. He signed for the Miami Heat in August 2013, more than three years after his last appearance in an NBA game, and played with the team in the 2014 NBA playoffs
