Welsh singer, drummer, and guitarist who has played with Ffa Coffi Pawb and Super Furry Animals, among others. In 2014, he released the album American Interior.

Gruffudd Maredudd Bowen Rhys is a Welsh musician, composer, producer, director and author. He performed solo and with several groups, including the Super Furry Animals, enjoyed great success in the 1990s. He formed the electronic group Neon Neon with Boom Bip. Their Stainless Style album was nominated for the 2008 National Mercury Awards. It won the 2011 Welsh Music Award for the album Hotel Shampoo, followed by 2014 American Interior, accompanied by a movie, book and a mobile application. His most recent album Babelsberg and Pang were released in 2018 and 2019 respectively. He is considered the leading figure of the era called Cool Cymru.
