American soccer forward who won the 2014 Major League Soccer Cup with the Los Angeles Galaxy. He'll join the Columbus Crew SC in 2018. In 2015, he made his international debut for the United States national team.

Gyasi A. Zardes is an American professional footballer who plays as a forward for the Columbus Football Team of the Football Federation and the United States National Team. Born in Hawthorne, Calif., Zardes was part of the LA Galaxy Youth Academy before playing college football for Cal State Bakersfield. After playing three seasons with Roadrunners, Zardes signed with LA Galaxy as a local player. In his first season he immediately became a regular with the Bruce Arena team, and the following season he scored 16 goals helping Galaxy win the 2014 MLS Cup at Columbus Crew. He was the one who immediately kicked off head coach Gregg Berhalter as he netted 19 goals in his debut season with the team. Zardes will be named MLS Player of the Year Back Player of the Year 2018. In 2020, Zardes helped lead the Columbus Team to their second MLS Cup, beating the Seattle Sounders in the final.
