Harbhajan Singh Plaha, commonly known as Harbhajan, nicknamed Bhajji or Bhajju Pa, is an Indian cricketer who has played all kinds of cricket for India. An expert in spinning, he has the second highest number of bugs tested against an outdoor rotator, after Sri Lanka's Muttiah Muralitharan. He was captain of the Mumbai Indians and Punjab IPL teams for the 2012-13 Ranji Trophy season. Under his leadership, the Mumbai Indian won the 2011 Champions League. Twenty20 Singh made his Test and One Day International debut in early 1998. His career was initially affected by investigations into the legality of his bowling act, as well as by several disciplinary incidents. However, in 2001, with top leggy athlete Anil Kumble injured, Harbhajan's career was revived after Indian captain Sourav Ganguly called for his inclusion in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
