Heath Justin Bell is a former professional baseball player from America. Closer to the San Diego Padres from 2009-2011, Bell has won the All-Star three times and won the Rolaids Relief Award twice. He also received the DHL Shipper of the Year Award and the Sports News Relief of the Year Award. Bell played a number of sports, including baseball, in high school. He transferred to community college, where he was an all-American. He started his professional career with the New York Mets, made his big league debut in 2004 and spent three seasons at small and large league level. In 2007, he was transferred to San Diego where he was the set up before replacing Trevor Hoffman as the closest person to Padres. From 2010 to 2011, Bell converted 41 consecutive save opportunities, tied to the Hoffman team's record. After the 2011 season, he signed for the Miami Marlins, then played for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Tampa Bay Rays.
