He is best known for his stint at WWE, where he performed under the stage name Heath Slater. After making his debut in 2004, Miller began wrestling for WWE in 2006 and competed in its developed territories Deep South Wrestling and Florida Championship Wrestling before competing in NXT's first season in the year. 2010. He made his main roster debut the same year as The Nexus, becoming the three-time WWE Tag Team Champion alongside Justin Gabriel. In 2016, Slater joined a storyline that involved him teaming up with Rhyno, leading the two to become the first WWE SmackDown Tag Champions. He was the first wrestler to win the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships. In total, Slater was a four-time Group Card Champion in WWE.
