Heather Anne Mills is a former British model, media figure, businesswoman and activist. Mills was first noticed by the public in 1993, when she was a model and was involved in a traffic accident with a London Police motorcycle. The accident resulted in the amputation of her left leg below the knee, but she continued to model using a prosthetic leg and then published her story for the News of the World tabloid. His relationship with Sir Paul McCartney, from 2000 onwards, gained public attention. They married in June 2002 and Mills gave birth to Beatrice Milly McCartney on October 28, 2003. The couple separated in 2006 and completed their divorce in 2008. After marrying McCartney, Mills was involved in animal rights advocacy and from 2012 was a patron of Viva! and the Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation. She is also the vice-president of the Limbless Association.
