Attacking midfielder who made his professional debut in 2006 for Pyunik Yerevan and made his first international appearance for Armenia in 2007. From 2016 until 2018, he was a member of Manchester United before joining Arsenal.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is an Armenian professional footballer who plays for Serie A club Roma and is captain of the Armenian national team. Mkhitaryan plays as an attacking midfielder, but can also play broad. He has won four Armenian Premier League titles with Pyunik and joined Metalurh Donetsk in 2009; He joined rival Shakhtar Donetsk in 2010 for 6.1 million euros. At Shakhtar, Mkhitaryan set a scoring record in the 2012-13 season and was named the tournament's best player of the year.
