Hideki Kamiya is a Japanese video game designer and director working for PlatinumGames. Kamiya previously worked for Capcom and Clover Studio, and founded PlatinumGames in 2006, along with other former Capcom employees. As a game designer, Kamiya says he is most inspired by The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past and Gradius games. His favorite action game is the original Castlevania.
