Hiromu Arakawa is the pen name of Hiromi Arakawa, a Japanese manga artist and employee of Square Enix. The first loosely followed the source material and was released while the manga was still being written, and the second followed the events of the manga and was released after the manga was finished. She is also known for the manga adaptation of The Heroic Legend of Arslan novels.
