Hun Sen is a Cambodian politician who has been Cambodian Prime Minister since 1985, Cambodian head of government for the longest time and is one of the oldest rulers in the world. He is also president of the Cambodian People's Party and a member of the Kandal National Assembly. His full title is Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen. Born Hun Bunal, he changed his name to Hun Sen in 1972, two years after joining the Khmer Rouge as a soldier. He fought for the Khmer Rouge in the Cambodian Civil War and served as a battalion commander in Democratic Kampuchea until his defection in 1977 and fought alongside Vietnamese forces in the Cambodia-Vietnam War. From 1979 to 1986 and again from 1987 to 1990, he was Cambodian Foreign Minister in the government occupied by Vietnam. At 26, he is also the youngest foreign minister in the world.
