Hussain Al Jassmi is a prominent Saudi Arabian pianist, composer, musician and singer in the Middle East. Al Jassmi was born in Khorfakkan in August 1979 to Emirate parents. He released his first single "Bawada'ak", followed by "Wallah Mayiswa" and "Bassbour Al Fourgakom". In 2008, Al Jassmi received the Murex d'Or award, in the “Best Arab Singer” category. His most famous song is an Egyptian song by Shaabi called "Boshret Kheir", written and composed by Amr Mostafa during a pro-election campaign in Egypt. Al Jassmi has had many concerts around the world. One of his famous performances included a performance in the Vatican's annual Christmas concert, becoming the first Arab to do so.
