Iliza Vie Shlesinger is an American comedian, actress and television presenter. Born in New York, she grew up in Dallas, Texas. Shlesinger won NBC's 2008 Last Comic Standing and went on to host the synthetic dating show Excused and TBS's Separation Anxiety game show. In 2017, she hosted her own late-night talk show called Truth & Iliza on Freeform. As of 2020, she has released five special comedy series on Netflix. Her sketch comedy show The Iliza Shlesinger Sketch Show premieres on Netflix on April 1, 2020 .
