Jack David Laugher is a British diver competing for Great Britain and Great Britain. As a pedal specialist, he competed in individual pedal events and synchronized events with Chris Mears and later Daniel Goodfellow. Laugher and Mears became Britain's first Olympic diving champions by winning a gold medal in the men's 3m synchronized crankset at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, a feat many have come to expect. A week later, Laugher won a silver medal in the men's 3m individual pedal event at the same Olympics, becoming the first British diver to win multiple Olympic medals in diving at the same Olympics. Laugher was twice Commonwealth Games champion for England at the 2014 Olympics in Glasgow, three-time champion in 2018 and the first British diver to win two medals at the same World Championship, World Championship 2015. In 2015, Laugher won the overall FINA Diving World Series title for the 3-meter pedal.
