Jade Louise Ewen is an English singer, songwriter, actress and former member of the girl group Sugababes. Ewen started her singing career in a girl group called Trinity Stone, signed with Sony BMG in 2005 but disbanded in 2007 without releasing an album. In 2009, after winning consecutively, she represented the UK at the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest performing "My Time" by Andrew Lloyd Webber / Diane Warren. She finished fifth, becoming the most successful British actress on Eurovision since 2002. Ewen replaced Keisha Buchanan in the group Sugababes in September 2009. After joining the group, the group achieved two top 10 UK singles and one top 15 album. In 2016, Ewen debuted Princess Jasmine in the West End in the original cast of Aladdin produced by Disney.
