He played in Major League Baseball for St. Petersburg Louis Cardinals, Atlanta Braves, Minnesota Twins, New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays and Chicago Cubs. The Cardinals presented García in Round 22 of the 2005 MLB Draft from Sharyland High School in Mission, Texas, and he started the MLB with the Cardinals in 2008.
