Jamelia Niela Davis is an English singer, songwriter and television presenter. She has released three studio albums, each in the UK's Top 40, bringing together the UK's top eight singles. In addition, Jamelia has won four MOBO Awards, one Q Prize and received nine BRIT Award nominations. Jamelia's professional musical career began in 1999, when she released her first single, "So High", followed by a more successful single, "I Do". She then released her first full studio album, Drama, in June 2000. Jamelia went on to release other hit singles, including "Superstar" at number three on the UK Singles Chart and number one. one in Australia where it has become platinum approved.
