Captain Slow or Mr. Slowly, the host of popular programmes such as Top Gear and The Grand Tour, became known as Captain Slow or Mr. Slowly. From 2003 until 2011, he also published a weekly column for The Daily Telegraph.

James Daniel May is an English journalist and television presenter. He is best known as the co-host of the Top Gear Motorcycle Show alongside Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond from 2003 to 2015. Since 2016, he has been a director of production company W.
