William James Nesbitt is an actor and TV presenter from Northern Ireland. Starting in 1987, Nesbitt spent seven years performing in plays ranging from the musical Up on the Roof to the political drama Paddywack. He made his movie debut as talented agent Fintan O'Donnell in Hear My Song. He had a television role playing Adam Williams in the television series - the romantic comedy Cold Feet, which won him the British Comedy Award, the Broadcasting Industry and Broadcasting Industry Club Award, and the National Television Awards. Nesbitt's first big movie role was when he appeared as "Pig" Finn in Waking Ned. Along with the rest of the main cast, he was nominated for the Screen Actors Association Award. In Lucky Break, he made his film lead debut, playing inmate Jimmy Hands. The following year, he played the role of Ivan Cooper in the television series Bloody Sunday, on the set of 1972 in Derry.
