Eric Marlon Bishop, known by his stage name Jamie Foxx, is an American actor, singer-songwriter, comedian, television presenter and record producer. Foxx is widely known for his role as Ray Charles in the 2004 biopic Ray, the film for which he won the Oscar, BAFTA, Screen Actors Association Award, the film awards were voted on, and the Golden Globe Award for the best actor. That same year, he was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the mortgage crime film. Since Spring 2017, Foxx has been the host and executive producer of the game show Fox Beat Shazam.
