British actress who became known as TV's Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Wallis Simpson in the 1988 film The Woman He Loved.

Jane Seymour, also known as Jane Semel, was Queen of England from 1536 to 1537 as the third wife of King Henry VIII. She succeeded Anne Boleyn as the Queen's Assistant after her subsequent execution in May 1536. She died of complications less than two weeks after giving birth to her only child, her son, becoming King Edward VI. She was the only wife of the king to have the queen's funeral held and his only wife buried beside her in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle.
