About Jang Won-young
First place finisher for the 2018 version of the reality series Produce 48 which led her to becoming the center and face of the girl group IZONE. IZONE was disbanded in 2021.
IzOne is a Korean-Japanese girl group formed in Mnet's reality show Produce 48. The group consisted of 12 members: Jang Won-young, Sakura Miyawaki, Jo Yu-ri, Choi Ye-na, An Yu-jin, Nako Yabuki, Kwon Eun-bi, Kang Hye-won, Hitomi Honda, Kim Chae - had won, Kim Min-ju and Lee Chae-yeon. The group is led by Off the Record and Swing Entertainment. Iz * One launched on October 29, 2018 with the first expansion game Color * Iz. Upon release, the band achieved immediate commercial success, selling more than 225,000 copies and peaking at No. 2 on Korea's Gaon Album Chart. In addition, EP and her debut single "La Vie en Rose" have been on the Billboard World and World Digital Songs albums respectively. Early success later hailed them as New Artist of the Year at several awards ceremonies, including the Golden Disc Awards and the Seoul Music Awards.
