Jason Jonathan Roy is a British South African cricketer who plays for the British team of all formats and for the Surrey County Cricket Club domestic cricket. He was part of the England squad that won the 2019 Cricket World Cup and holds the record for most international matches on a personal day performed by an English player. Born in South Africa, Jason Roy moved to England with his family at the age of 10. He is a right handed player who is new to limited cricket and plays on average in first class matches. He made his Twenty20 International debut against India in September 2014, his ODI debut against Ireland in May 2015 and his Test debut against Ireland in July 2019.
