Jay R. Vargas is a retired Marine Corps colonel who served in the Vietnam War. He received the Medal of Honor for "the courage and courage to foresee his life in danger during and beyond the call of duty" in 1968. Vargas is one of four brothers who fought in the US armed forces during times of war - World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War.
