James Burton "J.B." Mauney is an American professional rodeo cowboy who rides and competes in the Rodeo Professional and Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association races. He also participated in the Bull Riding Tour Championship. Mauney was the PBR World Champion in 2013 and 2015. Mauney is considered one of the greatest bull runners of her generation. Known for walking on a low-commute, he is known to have chosen the bull with the highest ranking in the pen when selected. "If you want to be the best, you have to drive the best," he said.
