Shortstop who debuted in the major leagues with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in 2012 and was named to his first All-Star squad with the Milwaukee Brewers in 2013. He was a member of the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2016, and prior to the 2017 season, he was dealt to the Seattle Mariners.

Jean Carlos Enrique Segura, known as El Mambo, is a professional Dominican baseball player for the Philadelphia Major League Phillies baseball team. Previously, he played for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, Milwaukee Brewers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Seattle Mariners. Segura was the All-Star in 2013 and 2018, and led the National League hit in 2016. He played for the Dominican Republic's national baseball team at World Baseball Classic 2017. Segura signed with Angels as a free agent in 2007. He made his MLB debut against Angels in 2012 and traded for Brewers as part of a package for Zack Greinke. He played for Milwaukee until 2015, when he was traded for Diamondbacks. Arizona traded him with Seattle after the 2016 season, and he signed a five-year, $ 70 million contract with the Mariners in 2017. After the 2018 season, Seattle traded Segura to Philadelphia.
