Emmy award-winning actress for her roles as Lana Gardener in Frasier and Regina Newley in Samantha Who? who was previously best known as Charlene Frazier Stillfield on the CBS sitcom Designing Women. Season-long performances in FOX's 24 and FX's Fargo are among his other significant television appearances. In 2016, she was cast as the lead in another FX show, Legion.

Jean Elizabeth Smart is an American actress. After starting her career in regional theater in the Pacific Northwest, she appeared on Broadway in 1981, as Marlene Dietrich in the biographical play Piaf. Smart was later cast as Charlene Frazier Stillfield in the CBS Designing Women sitcom, which she played between 1986 and 1991. Smart was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Actress in the Theater Renovation. Broadway was 2000 from The Man Who Came to Dinner and later received two Primetime Emmy Awards for her role as Lana Gardner in the NBC sitcom Frasier.
