Jelena Karleuša Tošić is a Serbian singer. Known respectively as "Madonna of the Balkans" and "Lady Gaga of Serbia" by Focus and W magazines, she is known for her often controversial personality and provocative gaze. Emerging in the mid-1990s, Karleuša established himself as one of the region's top performers over the following decades with a series of successful albums including Samo za tvoje oči, Magija, JK Revolution and Diva, and two title concerts in Belgrade: All Introduction to Diva and Viva la Diva Show. She went on to gain followers and influence on social media through her fashion style, becoming the first Serbian character after Novak Djokovic to reach one million Instagram followers. Karleuša also became a judge at the famous Zvezde Granda TV singing competition in 2015.
